MSHSCO Is Back!
Good job everyone! Today's performance was splendid. Joanna was nothing but "praises" .
But ultimately, we did better than others, or that's what most people say! Big Clap for each and everyone of you all! :)
Let's not be content be with this though, there is a slight chance that we may be performing on National Day with a new national day-related-song, so this means that it's time we to show that we can make it and make the performance as good as today's or even better.
Our hard work finally paid off! :) This proves that CO is still going strong and can be even better if we strive harder. So work hard everyone! Cheers to our very very very good performance!

Under Mr Chew's request, it is compulsory for all members to have a metronome and a tuner.
Unless you already have 1, you will be required to pay a $110 latest by next tuesday. Those who doesnt pay on time will be dealt with unless with a valid reason.
Metronome-$50, Tuner-$60.

Hey guys.... I've enlighten myself by managing to find out why our orchestra is not progressing but on the contrary dropping standards.... we lack.... synergy and motivation..... we don communicate with each other through the music... where is the old MSCO....? i seriously hope that you all would make us feel proud that we perform really well on FOunder's Day as it is a chance to prove to brother anthony that..... HEY! CO can make it...... the EXCO has been pushing you and yet you all have great inertia...... i hate to see those crestfallen faces as this shows to me that my exco and i have not been trying hard enough for the CO which will end up me scolding the other 4... which i feel is not their fault.....but mine..... i noe i have high expectations for everyone and that is let ua ll reach for the stars and fall on the clouds.....i seriously do not wan u all to be the best but i wan u all to be your best as being the best is a matter of opinion but being your best is matter of hardwork.... Sec ones....... haiz...... u all should buck up and catch up with ur seniors.....haiz..... i hope tmrw's rehearsal is not as screwed as the previous one..... Good Luck and DO ur BEST

The next committee meeting for the month will be held on the 27th July 2007, Friday... aka Founder's Day.
Time: 1.30pm approx.
Venue: Music Room.... duh....
What to Bring: your ideas,your enthusiasm...
the meeting would last until 2.00pm so after the meeting would be straight to the practice for Founder's Day

Kindly note that on founder's day itself, everyone is supposed to bring their maroon long sleeve t-shirt, long black pants, black socks and black shoes, the same way you guys are dressed on the maths & science week performance.

- friday, 20/7, 2.30pm-6.00pm (rehersal)
- Saturday, 21/7, 9am-12pm
- tuesday, 24/7, 3.30pm-6.30pm
- wednesday, 25/7, 2.30pm-4.30pm(last rehersal)
- thursday, 26/7, 3.30pm-6.30pm
- friday,27/7, 3pm-9pm(founder's day)

Fortunately or unfortunately, there is a slight possibility that there will be a practice on this thursday, 19/07/2007, usual timing. Not confirmed yet though. Fingers crossed. =x

Rehersals on wednesday, 18th july and friday, 20th july.
Last rehersal on 25th july, wednesday, as thursday will be normal practice.
Founder's day will be on 27th July.

the auditions for the remaining ppl is so CANCELLED!!!
your entrance to the main orchestra will be decided by the sectional leaders.

the next perf will be on founder's day and we are to perform two songs.
we have decided to play mambo no.5 as the first piece.

good job to everybody today for the performance. Well, it was well recieved by others and all the comments i recieve are positive so good job to all. special thanks to the two seniors who bothered to come back to perform with us again and to the logistics for a great first time. Special thanks to everyone involved and although it was raining and there was a constraint in space, we still managed to wow the crowd, this got to shows that CO can make it. let's all work towards founders day and make sure the limelight is on us.
